Enrichment

At Oasis Academy Connaught every child has the chance to access a variety of enriching experiences from Nursery through to Year 6. We build this into day-to-day lessons but also through organising special events, day trips, visitors and family events. 

One of the aspects of enriched learning that is particularly popular with our young people is our camp visits!

Children love going away on camp and OAC we offer several camps during their time with us. Year 6 enjoy going to Wales on farm camp where they learn all about farming in a hands on approach. In year 5 children go to Barton Camp and take part in activities at the Mendip Ski Centre.

The Academy also offers Year 6 children the chance to visit London and during this trip the children go on a River Thames cruise and even visit the London Eye. And the trip always has a very special surprise at the end for the children.
