How have we promoted British values
Core British values as identified by DFE comprise:
- Respect and tolerance for and of different faiths and beliefs. Appreciation and respect for their own and other cultures
- Becoming valuable rounded members of society (including self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence)
- Respect for democracy and participation
- The rule of law (including how to distinguish right from wrong and how law protects citizens and ensures wellbeing and safety)
How citizens can influence decisions
- Liberty

- Diversity
- Broad general knowledge and respect for public institutions and services in England
- Understanding of how to identify and combating discrimination
