Welcome to Little Explorers Nursery at Oasis Academy Connaught

Here at Oasis Academy Connaught, we value and work in partnership with families to support children with their learning, helping them get ready for starting big school.

Our aim is to provide holistic learning in a safe, happy and stimulating environment through which all children are challenged and make outstanding progress. To develop confident, happy children, equipped with foundations to nurture a lifelong love of learning.

The provision for children in the early years is strong. Children get off to a good start to their education.

Sessions times and extra sessions

We have Government funded 15 hours spaces or 30 hours spaces (for working families) for 3-4 year olds. We now accept children into our Nursery the day after they turn 3! For the 15 hours spaces the Nursery hours are 08:30am – 3.00pm, two and a half days a week. (Monday all day, Tuesday all day, and Wednesday morning OR Wednesday afternoon, Thursday all day and Friday all day.)

The hours for the Government funded 30 hours are every day 08:30am – 3:00pm.

We also have extra sessions available at the current price of £5 for each extra session (AM/PM or £10 full day). These must be booked in advance and paid for through our payment app.

Children can join our setting from the day after they turn 3 which is really exciting as it means we get to support children from a younger age. When children first start with us, we work with parents to understand how best to help their child settle into Nursery.
