Connaught gradual re-open

The Government has asked schools to welcome back pupils in early years settings and those in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 from 1st June. This is in addition to the children who can attend now (children of key workers and other eligible children).

The published guidance from the Government to parents and carers is available here.

For the latest information on the arrangements we are making to re-open after half-term for the above pupils, please see the latest news section of the website.

We are unfortunately unable to open for other pupils at this time, and they should continue with their remote learning.

How to stay safe

Following the closure of all schools in March, the Government has updated their guidance on how to stay safe during the coronavirus outbreak. You can access the latest information by visiting the Government’s website https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.

The guidance is as follows:

We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:

stay at home as much as possible
work from home if you can
limit contact with other people
keep your distance if you go out (2 meters apart where possible)
wash your hands regularly
self-isolate if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.
